Proverbs 26:7 The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools.

Everyone has wondered why there is so many "interpretations" of scripture.  Scripture teaches clearly in this passage that a parable is not the same because of the fools interpreting them.  Godly wisdom is precious, it must come from God and we must seek it out earnestly.  We must devote our lives; our whole being in the pursuit of Godly wisdom.  Proverbs is a great book that outlines characteristics of the wise and the follies of the foolish.  We must ask God from wisdom, we must seek it and we must rely on the spirit of God and not our own hearts to guide us into truth.  The scriptures are foolishness to the unwise, may we be wise and discerning so that we understand the clarity of scripture and not mishandle the word of Truth.
