Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

With so many "Christian" speakers and writers today it is time consuming and difficult to wade through all the teaching.  It's sad that most of them do not adhere to God's written word.  So many people add to the word of God, whether they come to God's word with their bias or have twisted the meaning of a verse knowingly or unknowingly.

Our job is to be discerning, rightly dividing truth.  Scripture is the yards stick with which everything is measured.  May we hold God's word high as it is alive and powerful, converting the soul and making wise the simple. (Ps 19:7)

Praise God we have his word!
