Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Oftentimes this life brings challenges, and during these trials we are sometimes overwhelmed and do not know what the next course of action should be.  Our duty, our reason for being is to glorify God.  How do we glorify God?  By loving him;  and how do we love him?  By doing what he says and being obedient to Him.  We are told to keep his commandments -- this is our duty, our job, our purpose.  During times of trial we should be obedient to God and not rely on our own understanding; we should obey what he commands.  To pray, to remain faithful, to praise and honour Him, to live loves worthy of our calling, and to tell others the good news.  We have a Saviour and soon we will be face to face.
