Philippians 3:8 "I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord." How does our view of Christ influence our view of other things? Do things seem worthless in light of the truth of Jesus Christ coming into the world to die for our sin? In light of eternity, the present things seem so insignificant. Are we living for those things? Or are we living for Christ and storing up treasure in heaven, our eternal home? Above all things, God is the most valuable to me. He is my Lord (master) and Savior (saving me from my sin). He is the only one worthy of honor and praise. All other things fade and fall away. Tags: |
