Philippians 3:1 "To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you." Before Paul repeats what he has undoubtably told the Philippians many times on previous occasions, he lets them know that its no trouble for him and that it is a safeguard for them; it is for their own good. We need constant reminders and constant input from the source of truth, the Word of God. Daily intake is important, just as a baby cannot survive without milk, so to Christians cannot survive without the Word of God. It's not just a coincidence that the Word of God is likened to bread (Matthew 4:4) and milk (1 Peter 2:2, Heb 5:12, 1 Corinthians 3:2). Are we going hungry? Or worse, already starved and dead?
