Romans 5:1-2 "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God." Here at the beginning of chapter 5 we have the end of chapter 4 :) The summary statement of Paul's argument in the first 4 chapters of Romans. Having been (past action with present effects) justified by faith, we have (not may, we have) peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. What a wonderful truth and a great way to start off this month's readings! Tags: |
