Romans 6:16 "you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness" The death of Christ for a Christian frees them from the bondage of sin. Here we read that we are slaves to the one whom we obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness. What does the pattern of our life reveal about who we are in bondage too? Are we living a life that demonstrates the obedience of faith (Romans 1:5) or can we not say no to sin and remain in bondage to this world. Paul warns that if you are enslaved to sin, the result is death; for the wages of sin is death. Whom do you serve? Tags: |
